wellspring

exploring the 3 cauldrons & embodied white supremacy

small group somatics practice for reconnecting to ancestral lineage and unraveling embodied white supremacy

Do you feel called to explore ancestral embodiment this season? Join us in wellspring!

This small group somatics space is a place for european descended folks to explore how white supremacy lives in our blood & bones through embodiment practice, and see what a modern reinterpretation of ancestral technology might offer us in tending these threads.

wellspring is an offer for folks who have worked with me previously, through spaces like Foundations or Attune. It is a space for taking the work we’ve already done together deeper, into the level of the tissues, by working with the Three Cauldrons of the Irish tradition. This is space is explicitly antiracist & anticolonial.

The Three Cauldrons comes from Irish records as a fragment of writing and poetry dating to the 8th century. It centers on the idea that each person has three cauldrons in their body, the positioning of which reflects the health//wellbeing of the person as well as the state of their mind & psyche. Working with the Three Cauldrons in somatic space, as well as ritual space, holds great potential for healing and transformation.

My own practice has been deeply impacted by working with the Three cauldrons over the last 6 years in both somatic & ritual spaces, and I’m really excited to explore this with you all. I believe this is one pathway for settlers to explore how white supremacy has been internalized in our bodies, letting us witness what is within before moving toward what we wish to cultivate. I believe it holds great possibility to support us in this specific political moment, when there is so much violence and pressure to capitulate.

What might we find in our own depths to help us meet this moment rooted in our values? Join us in this embodied exploration.

Notes: The Three Cauldrons is not a verified historical embodiment practice; rather, modern practitioners and devotees have collaborated with this surviving lore to craft embodiment & ritual practices from it. It is an example of reweaving a pathway to connection from surviving ancestral cultural threads with modern interpretations and frameworks, rather than working with an specific intact embodiment or ritual practices.

You do not have to be of Irish descent to participate; this invitation is open to all with Celtic Isles lineages.
