how it should have gone zine

This is a short per zine. It a prayer, a poem, a cry, a list - of the care that I needed in the aftermath of grievous harm. It is a claiming of the care that I deserved but did not receive from loved ones as a Survivor. This zine was created through ritual + reflection that I undertook as part of my own healing process.

The zine does not mention Survivorship in detail or my direct experiences explicitly. The language is gentle and loving. However, in naming the ways I needed to be held in the aftermath, it may bring up sensitive emotions in folks, especially other Survivors. Please tend to yourself with compassion and care.
